MY STORY
How It All Began
"I want to help others feel uplifted and inspired to paint beautiful, meaningful art from the comfort of their home "
My journey with art began back in eighth grade, when I walked into my very first art class. From that moment, I was hooked—I fell in love with creating. I kept taking classes, eventually became the Art Sterling Scholar, and later went on to study art in college. Along the way, I also became a Registered Nurse, where I saw firsthand how creativity could bring comfort, hope, and healing to people during life’s hardest moments.
Later, I trained as a certified Art Therapist, giving me the opportunity to help others heal through art in even deeper ways. While raising my four children (and now enjoying 15 wonderful grandchildren!), I never stopped painting. Many nights I stayed up late after my kids were asleep, creating—because art has always felt like a true calling.
Through it all, my purpose has stayed the same: to bring people closer together and closer to God through art. Teaching art classes taught me that painting is about much more than brushes and colors—it’s about discovering joy, confidence, and meaning. I loved watching students light up when they created something they never believed they could.
Eventually, I felt inspired to share this gift with even more people. That’s how Inspire and Create was born—a place where anyone can learn to paint from home, even with a busy schedule. My dream is not just to teach painting, but to help others feel uplifted, gain confidence, find joy, and connect with a community of people who love creating too.

You work at your own pace - there's no pressure! Many members find it becomes their favorite "me time" for relaxation and renewal.
You'll need basic acrylic paints, a few brushes, and canvas or paper. I provide a complete supply list with budget-friendly options.
This isn't just about learning to paint - it's about transformation. Each project combines artistic instruction including templates with inspirational themes that uplift your spirit. You will be also getting 2 downloadable inspirational quotes to display by your picture. In addition, you will be joining a warm community of like minded creatives who support and encourage each other's growth.
When you join, you start with the current month and continue forward. This keeps our community painting together and sharing the same inspirational journey. However, members often share tips about past projects in our Facebook group!
As long as you’re an active member, you have full access to everything inside the membership. Any lessons released during the months you’re a member remain available to you for the duration of your membership.
You can cancel anytime.
When you cancel, the membership will stay active until the beginning of your next billing cycle, and then it will simply not renew.
